Hello, we are Jack and Ella the founders of HCC. We created HCC in 2022 but we have both worked within the outdoor industry for nearly 10 years. Our love for the outdoors has been embedded in us both as individuals since we were ‘wee’ kids, Ella being raised in Kenya and Jack in the UK.
Our love for the outdoors brought us together. It is with this passion that we will share with you through our enthusiasm and commitment, creating memorable experiences in the Highlands of Scotland and in Kenya.

As a youth I was greatly influenced by an uncle who sparked an enthusiasm, which has grown into a passion, for outdoor pursuits. This led me to where I now find myself guiding, instructing and introducing people to new and exciting environment to explore .
Climbing has given me so much joy and I now get to be apart of others progression becoming independent mountaineers and climbers.

Growing up in Africa, adventure was a way of life, and it was no surprise that by the age of 17, I had discovered my passion for mountaineering at altitude. Over time, I honed my leadership skills by meticulously planning, executing, and reviewing numerous mountain bike and high-altitude expeditions worldwide, while also gaining experience in river rafting and kayaking in Kenya and Uganda.
In 2016, I made the decision to relocate to Scotland to pursue British mountain qualifications. Today, I am a qualified Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor in Summer and a Winter mountain leader. Mountain bike Level 2 and Gold velotech in bike mechanics.
